On the occasion of Ahrend's one-hundredth anniversary the famous designer Frans de la Haye was asked to design an office chair. The commission: to design an office chair to mark Ahrend's centenary ‚¬â€œ a century of innovative thinking ‚¬â€œ and the start of a new era. The result was the beautiful Ahrend 240 Centennial. In addition to the office chair, two new models of chair have now been added to the range: one with a cantilever frame and one with a four-leg frame.
