Product Information Our Hampton chair represents the work of a number of Dutch and French craftsman escaping from religious persecution on the continent of Europe who settled in England in the late 17th century. Their furniture featured elaborately scrolled arms and legs, embellished with carved acanthus leaves. The stretchers were configured to compliment the new style tables of this period.
