Product Information The Jacob chair is undoubtedly an inspiration from the cabinet maker of the Louis XVI period of the same name. Georges Jacob, 1735-1814, and his children, refurnished the royal residences for Napoleon after designs by Percier and Fontaine. The frame displays a carved beaded moulding around the curved back and frame apron. The legs are tapered and fluted. The sidechair can be found on the opposite folio. An available option is to highlight the carvings in a contrasting finish as shown.
