St. James FountainThis stone fountain is located in the courtyard of a round barn on St. James Farm, an equestrian estate in Naperville, Illinois. The pear trees are pleached, the 100 foot diameter barn is designed after the great Roman octagonal barns and painted Kremlin yellow with black and white diagonal striped doors and shutters from the Swiss tradition. Water cascades from both ends of an elevated trough landing in round marble tubs. It spouts out of copper pipes into a pool below and re-circulates.
