Knives were designed and created by Great Lake Woods skilled tool makers to duplicate "Hand Scrapped"..."Sand Blasted" and otherwise "Texture Distressed" profiles on wood planks for use in Flooring, Wall Panels, Cabinet Door and Drawer Fronts, Exterior Siding, Shutters or anywhere else that a textured wood substrate would be desireable. This can be done at a fraction of the cost of hand scrapping or sandblasting.These custom knives atr placed into a Weinig moulder of special design which creates both radial and axial Random Movement creating texture lines both with and across the plank as it travels through the machine.Tooling can be produced to create a varieties of textures
