Further addressing its commitment to innovation in sustainable product development, Johnsonite® introduced Ecolibrium® Bio-based rubber wall base. Ecolibrium is manufactured with a pioneering compound that balances a variety of sustainability objectives. The proprietary patent-pending compound within Ecolibrium is a significant innovation in the flooring industry. Ecolibrium contains a unique blend of over 5% by total weight rapidly renewable materials along with pre-consumer recycled content. Ecolibrium is FloorScore® certified and contributes to several LEED point categories. This is a starting point for developing resilient flooring solutions with alternative raw materials.Ecolibrium is flexible for ease of installation, coordinates with all Johnsonite system solutions and can be installed with the current Johnsonite adhesive system. It has a smooth surface finish and is available in the 32 standard Color match colors which are available across all Johnsonite rubber tiles, treads and finishing accessories. As with all Johnsonite extruded solutions, Ecolibrium has no dye lots, guaranteeing exact color match.
