GreenSmart™ 2 allows these fireplaces to heat your home while saving on energy usage and lowering heating bills. The real power of the GreenSmart™ 2 system is its entire collection of components, controls and technology features. The GreenSmart™ 2 Wireless Remote allows you to operate these fireplaces in a manual setting where you set the temperature, a thermostat setting where you set a desired room temperature, or in a “Smart” setting where the flames modulate to maintain a desired temperature. It also controls the interior Accent Lights on these units which highlight and showcase the fire display, creating a warm glow inside the firebox. With six different levels to choose from, the Accent Lights can be used whether the heat is on or off, for year round enjoyment. Twin 90 CFM convection fans help deliver and distribute heat even throughout your home, with six speeds to choose from. The GreenSmart™ 2 system also includes the choice of pilot modes; You can reduce the amount of gas consumption during mild days when less heat is required in order to conserve as much fuel as possible, or you can keep the pilot on at all times, warming the vent system and maintaining a strong draft.
