The PathLinx LED emergency light has an aesthetic, compact, thin profile design for egress lighting in the commercial space. The PathLinx has a number of advanced and exciting features which allow installers to reduce the cost of labor and materials.The PathLinx emergency lights and remotes have patent-pending RJ45 connection options – the EZ Click. This feature, combined with the UL Type-2 low voltage rating, will allow installers to connect the remote units to the base emergency light without the requirement of conduit or junction box. The patent-pending EZ Click option will allow installers to save up to five times the cost of the PathLinx remotes by eliminating the cost of conduit and junction box labor and material.PathLinx emergency lights use patented, energy-efficient AccuLED optics, which provide maximum spacing with elliptical egress light patterns, thus reducing the number of emergency light fixtures and providing a clear path of egress. Also, the advanced LED technology provides the option for up to four remote LED heads, reducing the overall cost of emergency lighting. The patent-pending, lens swivel feature provides precise control of light patterns on floor, as well as the option for forward-throw of egress lighting. This optical system creates very uniform spacings to meet 1 foot candle average and 0.1 foot candle minimum requirements.The EZ Key external power disconnect is a patent-pending technology that allows installers to externallycontrol the battery connection. The external battery disconnect is better than line-latching and allowsinstallers to choose when the battery is connected to avoid battery damage during the construction cycle.The hands-free, patent-pending, EZ Hang feature allows the installer to hang the emergency light face from the back plate in order to easily and efficiently make the power connections.
