Carved Victorian Arched Statuary Marble Mantel

Late 1700s Victorian arched heavily carved marble mantel with Baroque center details and rosebud florals and leaves. Rope and ribbon detail decorate the center arch and acanthus leaf corbels grace the two stately sides. The marble is rare white statuary and is in excellent condition. This mantel originated from President Monroe’s 5th Avenue home in New York City.

Dimensions: Shelf 82 in. W x 15 in. D, body 68 in. W x 50.5 in. H, opening 33 in. W x 35 in. H
