One of the subtle keys to a great-looking period door treatment, door strike plates work with Mortise locks or tube latches to hold doors shut and secure locks. Often painted, worn, mangled, or simply lost, replacing an original door strike plate - of which there were many variations and sizes - can be very challenging today. Our selection is compatible with some of the most common, old interior mortise lock configurations, with upper latch and lower lock holes spacious enough to accommodate varying sizes while still allowing a snug lock and latch fit. Rejuvenation-exclusive strikes are offered in six hardware finishes (unlacquered brass, lacquered brass, burnished antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, polished nickel, brushed nickel) to match our Interior Door Sets, are reversible, and include authentic slotted wood screws.
