Client requested Dorian Bahr to design a mid-century style overhaul to façade’ representing the style and period of homes in the neighborhood.Transformation began by removing vertical & horizontal obstructions and soft-scaping elements that represented colonial-traditional style. We redesigned the exterior by adding high polished yellow-pine v-board columns and cladding to the exterior gables. We added a high-polished, tongue and groove pine under-carriage to front porch, a new front door, mailbox, lighting and new hardware, in addition, we added decorative concrete screen-blocks to carport and feature wall, a decorative free-standing screening wall, new architectural landscaping, in-ground dusk-to-dawn lighting, decorative water-feature, gable vent, and painted architectural detailed elements.
