Bondi Beach

Description: The inspiration for this pattern was strings of cut shell we found on our last trip to the Tuscon Gem and Mineral Show. While the idea was like a flashbulb going off it took Sharon quite some time to line up and sew down all of the strings of shell until we had enough copy to work with. Once we had the image it was a lot of adjustment and manipulation until it behaved itself as a wallcovering design. This item is targeted to the corporate market but should have application in hospitality. It might be fun to do a "down under" look to the photo since we named the pattern after the beach in Sydney to keep a connection to the shell starting point without being too literal.
