In 2000 we invited some of London's hottest creative minds to collaborate with us on an exciting and inspiring collection of wool and silk rugs. Each designer has introduced their own distinctive perspective and the collection has since grown to include some of the world's brightest talents, from all aspects of the design world including fashion, interior, textile and product design.
Success in London enabled The Rug Company to open its first store in New York's SoHo in 2002. With an experienced in-house design team, as well as a host of carefully selected top designers, including some of the world's brightest stars in interiors, textile and fashion design, The Rug Company has now achieved international recognition as the freshest and most innovative rug label offering exceptional quality, materials and customer service.
