Group Goetz Architects is currently working on the building renovation and modernization of an office building on K Street in Washington, DC. Built in 1965, 4201 Connecticut Ave. comprises ground-level retail and five floors of office space. Joss Realty (locally known as BMS Realty) has given GGA the task of improving the classification of this Class C office building by renovating all common areas, including the lobby, common corridors, restrooms and elevator cabs, and by completely replacing the building's mechanical system. In order to provide the building with greater street presence, GGA is adding a new canopy and updating the landscaping, all while respecting the original architecture.
