Inspired by the natural cycle between adversity and hope, “Tunnel of Light – From Storm to Calm” invites visitors on a sensory journey where light and sound intertwine to tell a story of transformation. Drawing on the image of the storm as a moment of change, the installation offers an immersive experience that guides the public from chaos to serenity, from darkness to light, from rain to sunshine.
More than a festive lighting piece, this tunnel celebrates resilience and the ability to find beauty after turbulence. Each step beneath its luminous vault invites reflection and renewal, evoking the transition from restlessness to harmony.
Spanning 70 metres, the tunnel is entirely enveloped by a luminous structure made of thousands of high-efficiency LED points, perfectly synchronised with an immersive soundscape. The experience begins beneath a sky of ethereal clouds, bathed in cool, shifting tones. A gentle rain of light descends, accompanied by the sounds of wind and thunder that evoke the storm’s intensity. As visitors advance, the colours gradually warm, revealing a chromatic transition that culminates in a radiant sun — a symbol of rediscovered light.
This central element, both visually and emotionally striking, becomes a space for connection and wonder, inviting visitors to capture the moment within a luminous and inspiring atmosphere. The sounds of birds and a soft breeze close the experience, evoking the peace and renewal that follow the calm after the storm.
