The Design Process

HFLOR CraftedConnections was created as a premium Luxury Vinyl Tile collection for modern commercial and residential spaces that require design flexibility, durability and a strong connection to nature. The collection is purpose-built for collaborative, flexible and supportive environments, blending biophilic aesthetics with high-performance flooring innovation.

CraftedConnections was developed by LX Hausys America as part of its HFLOR resilient flooring brand. HFLOR’s design philosophy centers on connecting people, nature and space through human-centric, biophilic flooring solutions, while supporting sustainability and responsible manufacturing.

CraftedConnections brings together two coordinated LVT designs, CraftedWood and CraftedClay, allowing designers to combine wood and stone visuals within one cohesive palette. CraftedWood is a 9-inch by 60-inch luxury vinyl plank that captures the warmth of natural wood through ultra-realistic graining, subtle texture and a color palette ranging from sun-drenched blondes to deep walnut tones. CraftedClay is a 24-inch by 24-inch luxury vinyl tile inspired by travertine and mineral textures, offered in an eight-color palette of warm neutrals, cool greys, light hues and darker tones. Together, the two styles allow designers to define zones, enhance flow and create interiors that feel grounded, sophisticated and connected through nature-inspired surfaces.

The collection is available in 2.5 mm and 5.0 mm thickness options and is backed by a 10-year commercial warranty and 15-year residential warranty.

Sustainability

CraftedConnections supports sustainability and occupant well-being through HFLOR’s commitment to eco-conscious materials, responsible manufacturing and biophilic design. LX Hausys prioritizes production methods that help products like CraftedConnections foster occupant well-being while reflecting the calming influence of the natural world.

The collection is also GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD GOLD certified, supporting indoor air quality goals for commercial and residential interiors.

CraftedConnections incorporates TrueMatte™ technology, an ultra-matte surface innovation that dramatically reduces light reflections, with a gloss level of only 1–3 to replicate the low-sheen appearance of natural materials. TrueMatte™ enhances color, texture and visual authenticity while providing strong resistance to stains, scratches and scuffs.

The collection also features TrueShield™ UV coating, which protects the surface and provides enhanced resistance to scratches, stains and scuffs in high-traffic environments.
