The Design Process
The SieMatic design team placed emphasis on variation of shapes, materials, tones, and heights to create an emotional world of opulence, simplicity and sensuality. This was achieved with an array of bold colors and rich materials, including natural stone countertop options including limestone, granite, marble, quartzite and the exotic green-hued gemstone material Serpentinite.
The decadent stones may be combined with a variety of woods such as Travertine Oak, Nutmeg Oak, Teak, Rosewood, and Dark Walnut. Inside the sleek cabinets, drawer interiors may be customized for optimal organization and storage.
Sustainability
New technologies allow SieMatic to embrace sustainability via myriad methods including using wood chips to produce their own heat, which brings significant energy savings and enables them to operate their German headquarters largely independent of fossil fuels.
