Kane Executive Desk

An attorney requested an executive desk for his Manhattan office. He wanted a large top surface for paper work yet did not want a bulky desk that would make the room look smaller. To make the desk seem airy, EVANSON supported the top with metal tubes mounted on file drawer pedestals. As a result, the top, veneered in Pommelle Sapele with a checkerboard pattern, appears to float.
