Classic 7 Fireplace

Nominee
What’s For Dinner? Look in the Fireplace. The Hwam Classic 7 fireplace can heatyour home and cook your dinner, too. This freestanding fireplace, hailing from Denmark, harkens back to the original hearth concept, supplying warm comfort for the house along with hours of heat for cooking and baking. Its good looks, featuring a raised fire chamber that showcases the fire’s flames through wide, curved glass (a Hwam innovation), smooth painted finish and industrial styling, easily make it a room’s focal point. The product is now available for immediate delivery through Hwam dealers in the US.MultitaskerStanding 42 inches high and only 25 inches wide and 19 inches deep, the Hwam Classic 7 is a small but mighty heating device and cookstove. One load of wood in the fire chamber will warm up to 2400 square feet for up to 10 hours, making it ideal as a primary heat source. The bake oven, which sits atop the fire chamber, provides sufficient temperature during five hours or more to prepare pies, pizzas, breads and stews. Another element of its multitasking personality is the handy wood storage area below the fire chamber. With a small footprint and the option to vent through a flue at the top or the back, the Classic 7 also has versatility when it comes to installation. The highly engineered fire chamber makes it safe to install the unit within 10 inches of a combustible wall. The Classic 7 is built with Hwam’s proprietary combustion technology, called Autopilot, which automatically and constantly adjusts the air supply to the fire chamber to maintain the idealtemperature for the most efficient use of fuel. Testing shows the system results in less wood needed to produce optimal heating. The Classic 7 accommodates standard 16 -18” logs, adding further ease to the operation. Using less wood to heat the home and cook the dinner at the same time – that’s using your natural resources wisely.Price: $4946. Model also available with a soapstone top; price $5263.
