RECYCLED CONTENT:The 100% recycled wood content of the high density fiberboard (HDF) used in high pressure laminate Wilsonart Flooring comes from several sources, including sawdust from saw mills, wood chips from log processing and planar shavings from wood processing. These salvaged wood particles are considered post-industrial recycled. The HDF is certified by the Composite Panel Association to be an Environmentally Preferred Product. The total recycled content by weight of Wilsonart Flooring is between 68-77%. INDOOR AIR QUALITY:GREENGUARD certification provides independent verification that our high performance flooring products have minimal impact on the indoor air environment. Ongoing tests assure VOC levels (volatile organic compounds), including formaldehyde, are well within recommendations set by the WHO, OSHA, the USEPA and other internationally respected public health organizations. In addition to meeting GREENGUARD standards, Wilsonart Flooring offers the added benefits associated with hard surface flooring: it will not harbor dust, odors, mold, mildew or other allergens that can aggravate asthma and other breathing-related disorders.
