The Design Process
The objective was to develop a space-saving, marine-ready laundry solution that could withstand the rigors of salt air, tight quarters, and varying electrical systems at sea. Equator’s in-house engineering team collaborated with marine consultants and field-tested the unit aboard vessels to fine-tune performance. The result is a compact, anti-corrosion washer-dryer combo with a dedicated Salt Wash cycle, convertible venting system, and Winterize mode, making it uniquely suited for life offshore or on the move.
