The collection is available in regular as well as oversized XL tile formats for dramatic effects that can't easily be achieved in the natural material because of weight. With the move towards simple, textured surfaces in even the most contemporary buildings, slate has become the material of the moment. Dark Slate's intense, saturated hues suits our desire for dark interiors, while the organic texture gives a Zen feeling of calmness and simplicity that sits well with modern style. Two finishes create ultra-slick, architectural looks: ¢ A dense matt black with a realistic marble finish, Slate Noire brings a clean, elemental style to the floor. A totally versatile neutral, the intensity of the color allows for plenty of experimentation. Ornate patterns, stark white or vibrant colors would work equally well. ¢ The softer, more urban face of slate, Graphite Slate has all the grain and character of a basalt or granite formed by nature. Its beautiful random patterning with ceramic finish can be explored with the creative use of tile shapes and sizes to create a floor of stunning originality. The collection is available in 12 x 12 , 18 x 18 and 18 x 24 tiles and 7.2 x 48 planks. Suitable for feature stripping, borders, motifs and custom designs, Dark Slate has bevelled edges and a urethane coating.
