Taking the LED semiconductors commonly used in car brake lights, traffic lights and bicycle lights for their long life spans, Sapper has created a small, easily balanced lamp head that emits a high-powered warm white light that will last for 50,000 hours (eight hours a day for 20 years). The lighting is crisp, focused and glare free. The lamp head remains cool to the touch with a small fan encased in red polycarbonate at the rear. With six points of rotation ‚¬â€two at each joint ‚¬â€the Halley is fluidly adjustable to 360° at every juncture. A Calder-esque system of geometric counterweights lends perfectly balanced arms and a sculptural quality to the design. A dimmer provides a full range of light. Select Quantity
