Designers Charles and Ray Eames experimented in the early 1940's with wood-molding techniques that would eventually evolve into what has become one of the most iconic pieces of 20th century wooden furniture. The Eames Plywood Chairs are sculpted of thin sheets of lightweight veneer, molded into organic curved shapes. This quality reproduction is currently available in White Oak, and will be available in Walnut and Ebony finishes towards the end of January (we are now taking pre-orders on those colors). It is also available with wooden or chrome plated steel legs. Our reproduction is also available as a dining chair or as a lounge chair. Please refer to the chart below for specific dimensions.
