Florida Tile Improves On The Look of Fossilized Shellstone With Introduction of Span HDP – High Definition Porcelain®Florida Tile brings the look of natural fossilized shellstone into the modern era with the introduction of SpanHDP – High Definition Porcelain®.Span HDP is inspired by natural shellstone, a stone tile quarried at sites close to the ocean. In every piece of Florida Tile’s interpretation of this stone, one can see the fusion of ancient coral shells and other prehistoric fossilized elements. Not only is every piece faithful to the look, the modernized take on the fossil age captured by Span HDP also makes it refined and durable, appropriate for a host of interior applications, both residential and commercial. SpanHDP never needs sealing and is specially treated with Microban®, an antimicrobial protection that is incorporated into the tile surface. Microban works continuously, inhibiting the growth of bacteria as it improves visible cleanliness and reduces odors. Think of how versatile this amazing product can be in the hands of architects and designers looking to develop exceptional environments with high performance and special requirements for hygiene and ease of maintenance. SpanHDP is available in two contemporary large-formats, 12x24 and 24x24, both with rectified edges, and is offered in natural and flamed surface textures.
