1052 Mandal Prima student chair with wooden seat

The idea behind Mandal furniture is working in two positions. To achieve this, the furniture must have certain special features, such as the pronounced downward curve of the front edge of the seat. When reading and writing, the student works in a half-standing position, with the feet either on the ground or on the adjustable footrest. In the listening position, the pupil leans against the back of the chair, with the feet on the footrest. Changing between these working positions activates the muscles and keeps the student alert and active. The Mandal way of working also has a positive effect on blood circulation. In the reading and writing position, the angle of the pelvis opens, which improves the blood flow to the lower limbs. The sloping desktop helps relieve tension in the neck.Important properties of this furniture with a high sitting position are that it is suitable for students of different heights and that the high desk provides an ergonomic working position for teachers, since they do not need to bend down. The Mandal Prima student?s desk is available either as a desk with box or as a table with an adjustable-angle top. Also available with adjustable footrest. Student chairs with an adjustable footrest have a fixed seat height of 650 mm. Student chairs with a fixed footrest come in three fixed seat and footrest heights. The seats and backs of the chairs are made of birch, beech or polypropylene.
