The client acquired a room full of antique carved french panels and stone fireplace and retained Heacker Interiors to incorporate them in this room with a view to house her contemporary treasures. We worked closely with the Millwork Contractor to replicate the pieces necessary to install them as if they were made for this room. Some of the antique panels were used for folding doors and to conceal a Murphy bed in the adjacent Guest Bedroom that serves as an additional sitting room when not needed.
Sustainability
This is a beautiful example of adaptable re-use or recycling in it's purest form.
