Wall-Mount Dimmers

The WS1D Wall Switch Dimmer is a high quality light dimmer packed full of features. It comes in several variations (600W, 1000W, 1500W, 2400W) and colors. Each can be set for either Dimming or On/Off Only operation. All models can control incandescent, florescent, or magnetic low voltage loads. The Wall Switch Dimmer can be controlled in three different ways: by its local rocker switch, by remote "slave" switches, and by UPB compatible controllers. The Wall Switch Dimmer is designed to be an integral part of PCS's UPB Lighting Control System and it is also compatible with many other lighting control systems. The PCS UPB Lighting Control System allows the designer/installer to implement up to 16 pre-set scenes for each circuit and over 250 scenes per house. When initial configuration is complete, a single push of a button is all you need to activate any group of lights (or control points) simultaneously. Each scene's pre-set lighting levels can be easily adjusted using PCS' innovative programming system (or by using a UPB Setup Tool). The Wall Switch Dimmer is packed full of customizable features that are all configured using a UPB Setup Tool. Top and bottom rocker switch actions, fade rates, and LED operations can all be customized. Besides just receiving UPB control commands, the Wall Switch Dimmer can be configured as a transmitter too. It can be configured to transmit many kinds of commands and status information upon rocker switch events. The Wall Switch Dimmer is a "master" and can be connected to one or more inexpensive remote "slave" switches to provide three-way or multi-way control. The RWS Remote Wall Switch looks and operates the same as the Wall Switch Dimmer and can be run up to 1000 ft. away. All PCS products are completely Made in USA and carry a five-year

Founded in 1992, Powerline Control Systems (PCS) has been successfully developing and manufacturing reliable, high-quality lighting controls for the residential and commercial markets. PCS products are designed to use standard powerlines to communicate control signals without additional wiring. PCS has developed UPBâ„¢ powerline communication technology which raises the reliability of powerline control to a new level. Potential applications for this technology include lighting, appliance, heating and cooling systems, and web-to-device interfacing. Additionally, PCS developed IPC(Industrial Powerline Communications), a patented retrofittable lighting control technology for industrial and commercial applications. Based on PCS's award-winning UPB technology, used extensively in residential applications, IPC has been developed specifically for high noise, high attenuation environments. Without new wires being run to the lighting fixtures, IPC provides remote control of almost unlimited numbers and types of lighting fixtures. Lighting zones can include any fixture in the building regardless of the fixture's physical location, phase, circuit, or panel it is connected to. IPC allows for the lighting zones to be programmed remotely from a computer without physically accessing the fixtures or rewiring. PCS has been awarded the Home Automation and Networking Association Product of the Year (1999), as well as being chosen as a Top 50 Editor's Pick in 1998 (Lighting Control Module), 1999 (Multi-Module), and 2000 (Fluorescent Smartswitch) by CEPro magazine. PCS currently maintains membership in the following professional organizations; CABA and the Techome Division of the Consumer Electronics Association.
