GE offers a complete line of trip unit upgrade kits for low voltage power circuit breakers manufactured by GE, as well as by Westinghouse, I-T-E, and Allis Chalmers. These conversion kits contain everything necessary to convert an old-style electro-mechanical or solid-state trip unit to today's latest electronic, digital technology--including the addition of metering and control functions. Conversion kits are packaged to include all the following components for fast, easy field installation: flux shifter, phase sensors, wiring harness, communications harness, programmable trip unit, mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions. All conversion kits designed by GE are tested to ANSI C37.59 standards for each breaker type so customers have the assurance of safe, reliable operation.
