The GE SX-2 SEM traction control was designed to provide a separately excited transistorized control alternative for industrial, commercial and utility applications, including single and dual motor proportioning vehicles, from 24 to 72 volts. Use of discrete components provides design flexibility and results in a more cost effective motor control. These controls can be supplied with GE separately excited traction motors to provide systems optimized for a specific OEM vehicle platform.
