Power Steering Control

The power steering controllers are designed to enable and to control the speed of hydraulic (series wound and permanent magnet ) motors used for power steering in industrial vehicles. These controls are used in conjunction hall effect pulse encoders that supply movement inputs from the steering wheel of the vehicle to the controller. The control will start the motor when steering wheel is moved and ramp up the speed of the motor proportionally to the speed which the steering wheel is rotated. If no movement of the steering wheel is sensed after a pre-set time, the control will shut off the motor, to save energy, reduce noise and extend battery life. Voltage Range : 24-48VDC and 72-80VDC Armature Current Limit : 60 Amps One Hour Rating (In Air) : 15 Amps One Minute Rating : 35 Amps Frequency : Constant 15KHZ
