The RS-300 is a regenerative three phase AC/DC converter intended to supply constant DC link voltage to AV-300 series inverters. The unit is also able to supply a DC input to inverters of other brands. The output DC link voltage of RS-300 is kept constant within a specified range even if the inverter operates in regenerative mode and supplies the power back to the DC link. The RS-300 converter is designed for continuous operation in regenerative mode up to the full rated current of rectifier mode. This makes it possible to use a RS-300 fed inverter in applications which require continuous regeneration.
