It is nailed down and then sanded and finished in place. You can choose which type of finish you prefer. Square edges mean that after it completed, the finish surface should have no breaks. Unfinished bamboo floors also give you the freedom to custom stain the color to your exact preferences. Our tropical species of bamboo is harder than Moso bamboo.
