Sol Table

A side and coffee table duo with a beautifully simple aesthetic and an expressive range of tabletop options, including surfaces made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Both tables have an elegantly minimal tripod base made from tubular steel and smooth bullnosed feet expertly engineered into the legs for a seamless finish. Atop the unassuming frame, customers can specify table surfaces in a variety of materials and colours to suit any atmosphere they aim to evoke.

The Design Process

The modern, considered look of the Sol Table Collection provides the perfect accompaniment to the recently released Rosa Lounge Collection as both lines feature strong, slender tubular steel frames. It offers an ideal way to tie in other seating too, such as the light and curvaceous Amelia wing back chair with four-leg tubular steel base, or the delightful Paloma chair with its perimeter steel frame version.

With Sol, we really wanted to create tables that connect with the light, organic, timeless minimalism of our latest seating designs. Both the side table and coffee table sit comfortably alongside these ranges forming a strong expression of our evolving brand aesthetic, says Mark Barrell, Design Director.

Sustainability

The option to specify Sol with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic tabletops is a real differentiator in the commercial furniture market. We offer a range of terrazzo-like surfaces made from items such as yoghurt pots, bottles, various types of packaging or plastic pollution removed from the sea.

In addition, custom tabletops can be created from other waste plastic streams. Brands are able to express their purpose and mission through the materiality of their Sol tabletops. For example, a coffee shop can have surfaces made from recycled plastic takeaway lids. Sol opens a wide range of exciting new possibilities.

Sols 100% recycled plastic surfaces are waterproof, easy to maintain, VOC free and 100% recyclable. The collection is an ideal way for customers to demonstrate their environmental credibility and meet their sustainability objectives.
