Luna

Best of 2022
Nominee

Setting itself apart from other round LED pendants on the market, Luna emits light through the sides of its pendants, extending the light source horizontally rather than the typical vertical model. Additionally, the design team achieved the difficult task of suspending a large round frame from minimal cables by using aluminum as the primary material. To deliver optimal quality and consistent lumens throughout a thin ring of aluminum, two LED strips line the inner and outer perimeters of each ring. The fixtures are crafted with a state-of-the-art silicon polymer, which provides a seamless diffuser in every offered size.

To create an even greater impact, the fixture’s rings can be composed in displays of several sizes to create an intersecting array across a larger space. Each of the three size options, 36”, 48”, and 60”, can also be placed on its own as a centerpiece, rendering light with a dramatic, yet understated, presence. Additionally, the variable hanging heights allow for the ability to create multifaceted lighting, offering the option of multiple pendants at variable heights to produce dynamic allure.

Luna was created with the objective of offering minimalist decorative lighting in multiple color temperatures for residential and commercial environments. In order to offer this versatility, the three sizes are each available in three finishes, Bright Satin Aluminum, Painted Brass, and Satin Black. The fixtures offer three color temperatures to choose from 2700K, 3000K, and 3500K. The 2700K temperature provides a warmer glow for smaller, more intimate spaces, whereas the 3500K temperature is fit to illuminate larger grand rooms or lobbies with a colder, brighter light. The fixtures offer additional flexibility for design by providing varying height options. The height of the ring itself is an understated 1.5”, while the hanging height can range from 30” to a dramatic 241.5”.
