Warmup's waterproof insulation backer boards are made of extruded polystyrene with a fiberglass mesh embedded on each face into a cement polymer adhesive. Easy to cut with a knife, it installs to any surface and greatly improves energy efficiency, saving money and heating a room up to 10 times faster on both cement and wood subfloors. Because it reflects the heat upwards, the floor tiles will warm up in approximately 30-45 minutes versus 2-8 hours without insulation on a concrete-slab floor. Each board measures 4' x 2' and is 3/8" in thickness. Warmup's insulation boards are R2 valued and tested to ASTM C203 and ASTM E1354 standards.
