Broad Beach Design was founded in 2001 by Los Angeles based Lighting Designer and Interior Designer Clark Collins. The company was set up to provide our clients with lighting, residential decoration and architectural design of the highest quality.Prior to forming Broad Beach Design in the fall of 2001, Clark worked as a project manager for well known interior designer Michael S. Smith. While working with Mr. Smith, Clark was responsible for the design coordination, organization and installation of many full scale residential projects for numerous high profile clients, including Steven Spielberg & Kate Capshaw, Joe & Donna Roth, and Peter Morton. This position offered valuable experience working with a diverse group of both domestic and international artisans, auction houses, antique dealers and furniture manufacturers.Clark's lighting collection was introduced in the spring of 2002. His designs are characterized by clean lines, exotic materials and fine craftsmanship. They have been featured in magazines such as Architectural Digest, Los Angeles Magazine, Interior Design and Elle Décor.His work is currently available at select furniture showrooms including Paul Marra Designs and Silho Furniture in Los Angeles, Sloan Miyasato in San Francisco, Renfroe in Atlanta, ICON Group, Inc. in Boston, Rakova Brecker in Dania Beach, and Joan Eiley in Toronto.
