Backplate fitting complies with mechanical security class ES2 requirements as per DIN18257.Function:Operation of external locking thumb-turn by presenting an authorised passive identifier (transponder) to the scanning unit. Internal thumb-turn can be freely locked or unlocked as required.Product features:Identifiers can take the form of passive HEWI transponder cards, keys, key-ring pendants and other items without their own power supply. The release time of the external locking button is adjustable. All the security-relevant parts (particularly the electronics, batteries, electromechanical coupling element) are safely housed on the inside of the door. Acoustic battery alarm. No additional wiring for doors or lintel required. For use in connection with standard cylinder-mounted mortise locks as per DIN 18251. Minimum service life of batteries - 30,000 lock movements.
