Rosemary Hallgarten’s Country Manor collection is rooted in a personal story. Inspired by her English upbringing and photographed at the historic Ashby Manor, the collection reflects a sense of place that feels both familiar and timeless. There’s a subtle nod to traditional English interiors - layered, warm, and collected over time - approached in a way that feels lighter and more current.
The palette is warm and grounded, featuring browns, deep cognac, soft camel tones, oxblood red, and vintage green balanced with lighter neutrals. Materials like silk, alpaca, mohair, and shearling add softness and texture, creating a sense of quiet luxury without feeling overly formal.
Hallgarten’s work is shaped by her interest in textiles, art, and design history, along with a strong focus on materials and craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade in collaboration with artisan communities in Peru, Brazil, and Nepal using traditional weaving, knotting, dyeing, and embroidery techniques, giving every design a sense of individuality.
The collection includes rugs, fabrics, and accessories, with standout pieces like the Pyrenees Rug in Igloo, a soft shearling and mohair design that works as a rug, throw, or layered accent, and the ZaZa Stripe Rug in Copper Snow, which features a subtle gold silk stripe on a neutral base. The Onde Bouclé Brindlé fabric uses marbled yarns to create natural variation, making each piece slightly unique.
Overall, Country Manor Collection feels personal and considered, with an emphasis on texture, craftsmanship, and pieces designed to settle naturally into a space.
