Our product team travels the world curating the wood and stone that inspire our luxury vinyl flooring. The purpose is to seek out something extraordinary. To create something exceptional.

Through artistry such as staining, scraping, brushing and polishing, the natural materials are crafted to achieve unique aesthetic character, then replicated in exacting detail as beautiful flooring that’s waterproof, easy to clean and backed by a lifetime residential warranty.

Every design is a Karndean original, each with a story as unique as the wood or stone that inspired it.

Sustainability

All factories that manufacture our products are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental standard, which provides a framework for measuring and reducing environmental impact

Products can earn LEED V4 points in two categories: 1. Materials and Resources 2. Indoor Environmental Quality

Products certified to NSF/ANSI 332, the foremost U.S. standard by which to evaluate and verify sustainability of floor coverings across the entire product life cycle

Products are FloorScore® certified for post-installation indoor air quality, meeting standard for WELL v2 and California 01350

Products are rated A+ for volatile organic compounds

Products are free from heavy metals and unsafe phthalates

Products use water-based or solvent-free adhesives with very low VOC emissions
