Wright Brothers, Soho Oyster House has recently gone through a major refurbishment adding new zest to the central London dining spot.Nulty worked in close collaboration with the interior designer, BradyWilliams Studio, to create an architectural lighting design scheme for the newly renovated restaurant, which is located in a Victorian townhouse conversion boasting extensive original features.Nulty's simple lighting scheme was designed to a keen budget and involved repurposing existing luminaires where possible, as well as the addition of simple bulkhead and spotlight luminaires that provide a welcoming, dramatic and convivial dinning environment.The architectural lighting solution uses incandescent lamps throughout the restaurant space and creates a warm ambience for diners. Feature pendants have been used on the ground floor catching the attention of passers by, drawing the eye into the space.A cage feature is located on the lower-ground floor and is a new addition to the restaurant’s interior. To softly illuminate the new, striking feature, the Nulty team used a simple array of incandescent lamps that radiate a soft, but moody feel within the space.The architectural lighting design scheme works seamlessly with the interior design creating a relaxed and informal feel that oozes charm and character.
