Hancock Table

The Hancock Table is a modern interpretation of a classic trestle table form that is designed to pair with our Hancock Chairs. Owing to its versatile design, the table also fits well with several other Thos. Moser chairs, whether traditional or contemporary in design. The table base incorporates detailing established in Hancock Chairs; for example, the foot to leg transitions are based on the back leg to rung transition and detailing. Visible joinery includes the through tenon at the stretcher to leg transition. The tenon is then wedged once assembled for added strength and integrity. So named after the Hancock Shaker Village, the table, like its partnering chairs offers a contemporary take on a historic furniture form.
