NCS (Natural Color System) Adds 100 New Colors

For the first time since 2004, NCS Color has launched 100 new Standard colors, going from 1950 to 2050 colors. Low chromatic colors are the most frequently used colors in NCS apart from the truly Neutrals (N). The new colors focus on hues between Yellow and Red.  Since “White” is an extremely important color for paint, NCS has also added eight colors in two new nuances in this color space.

A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE CAN MAKE A GREAT IMPACT Low chromatic colors are important in interior & exterior design, product design and architecture.  Slight differences in nuance or hue can make a major impact on the final design. For this reason, NCS Color made the Standard range of new colors denser in the low chromatic area of the color space.

Updated color tools with all 2050 colors are now available in the NCS Index, Atlas, Album, and Box plus individual sheets in the A4 and A6 sizes.  An additional tool is the new WS 160 - small fan with 160 neutral pages.    See ncscolorusa.com for total NCS 2050 Collection.
