Étoile Sconce

Urban Archaeology

The Étoile Sconce is yet another of our explorations of a light fixture made with our muse, alabaster. The light passing through the translucency of multiple facets of alabaster creates a soft sculptural glow. This sconce can be employed as a stand-alone fixture, but its modularity lends itself to infinite multiples and compositions. This design is based on one half of the geometric form of a cuboctahedron. The light source is a dimmable LED light engine, with a color rendition of 2700k, 10 watts (60-watt incandescent equivalent) 955 lumens, 80 CRI, and an 18,000-hour life.
