The POWER LEADER Power Supply provides 24 Vdc control power to MicroVersa Trip PM trip units used on both Power Break insulated-case circuit breakers and Type ALR low-voltage power circuit breakers. The control power is needed to configure the trip unit, energize the liquid crystal display and perform protective-relay functions when other external power is not available. The control power is required for the trip unit's communication function.
