The partnership between the two companies brings many added benefits to the design customer: Orion’s outstanding collection of iron and wood traversing rods are available custom cut or up to 30 feet in length. Somfy’s motorization options include the latest in motorization features, such as motors for both light-weight and heavy-weight drapes, integration into home automation systems, and other state-of-the-art features.
Tuscany Traversing, which offers Somfy motorization, gives designers a totally unique product: embossed, very light-weight metal fascia on heavy duty traversing rods. Tuscany Traversing is available in 35 Iron Art finishes, plus custom. Both Tuscany and Somfy can be bent or curved to match the template provided by the customer for bay windows and other special applications.
