Features and advantages:
The UTS 85 FL type is tested to the regulations for hold open systems of the German Institute of Construction Technology (DIBt) and licensed by a construction control board.
If the UTS 85 FL is used as swing-free device in a hold open system for fire rated doors, the respective regional or national regulations for hold open systems must be observed.
The UTS 85 FL is adjustable from above for sizes 2 – 6 (to DIN EN 1155) and may be used with:
– Fire rated doors to DIN 18 082, part 3
– Smoke control doors to DIN 18 095
– Fire rated doors licensed by a construction control board, provided the license permits the use of door closers to DIN EN 1154.
Aluminium body, galvanised cement case protected against corrosion.
Optimum longitudinal, lateral and vertical adjustment within the cement case. Easy fixing on doors.
Plastic valves with optimum thermal characteristics provide consistent closing speed also with changes in temperature.
As a standard, the UTS range is provided with a seperate valve for latching force adjustment.
Minimal force consumption (1 Watt). Several floor springs can be connected to a smoke control switch.
The supply cable with sprayed on socket allows for an easy connection with the plug on the floor spring case. The plug connection is water proof. The length of both cable and hose is approx. 3,5 m.
With deactivated linkage between door closer mechanism and door leaf, the door is freely movable both in opening and closing direction.
The UTS 85 FL is licensed for the use with various types of monitoring systems (e.g. smoke detecting systems). An overview of the current licences is available on request.
